JODIE HILLOCK
Sports, Therapeutic & Relaxation Massage Therapist | New Zealand College of Massage
Jodie experienced her own neck trauma at the age of six and throughout the years has found a good therapeutic massage to be her saviour. Her own experience with chronic muscle pain led Jodie to learn how to best manage and look after it – so she soon went on to gain quality training at the New Zealand College of Massage.
With her particular interest in dealing with pain management, Jodie also understands the luxury of a relaxation massage and the need for a sports massage. Her massage is often a combination of techniques, and Jodie prides herself on listening and catering the massage to her clients needs.
Jodie grew up at the head of Lake Hayes near Arrowtown in the South Island, and competed successfully at a National and representative level in Show Jumping. In 2014 Jodie and her husband moved to Mangawhai and she is delighted to be working with the team at WNT. With the wealth of knowledge and experience under one roof, looking after a clients needs is a supportive and collaborative process which Jodie relishes.
“As a physiotherapist myself, I spend my working day looking after other people’s aches and pains – so it was pure bliss for me to find someone I trust with mine! Jodie at Treat combines a easy going, warm manner with a professional awareness of safety and medical screening. She listens to you and tailors each session to your individual needs and the sore spots that need the most work. I will most certainly be back on a regular basis and would not hesitate to recommend Jodie’s skills.”
