Jodie joins WNT Massage

We are pleased to welcome the lovely Jodie Hillock to our team of Natural Therapists. Jodie prides herself on listening and catering to her clients massage needs. Having experienced chronic muscular pain herself in the past and finding huge benefit from massage, Jodie has particular interest in dealing with pain management and understands the importance of Sports massage.

Jodie gained quality training at the New Zealand College of Massage, and opened a very successful South Auckland clinic in association with a local Physiotherapist, so she is used to being part of a good team.

Jodie practices Sports, Therapeutic and Relaxation massage – so if you’re sporting an injury, come and experience her healing hands.. and discover that she also gets the luxury and benefits of a decent relaxation massage!

Inner Spring Clean!

IMG_6057

Spring has sprung so it’s time for some fresh new flavours to wake those taste buds from their stodgy winter slumbers. This uber-healthy smoothie from our new resident healthy food guru Alex Hayward of Tasty Bytes, tastes just amazing! .. have one every day and you’ll definitely notice a difference.

2 frozen bananas (makes it really creamy!)

1 orange

1 kiwifruit

A cup of greenstuff – I used mixed spinach, kale and parsley

1 cup of water and some ice.

Stick it in a blender or a NutriBullet – drink, enjoy and give your body a great internal spring-clean!

Leafy greens are full of minerals and chlorophyll which deodorises and cleans the body as well as the lymphatic system. This smoothie helps make the body more alkaline, so you’ll feel better, more positive and generally look healthier!
